Rethinking health – in harmony with people, nature, and culture
Health is not the Goal, but the Prerequisite – for a Life in Freedom, Dignity, and Responsibility.
The Swiss Health Alliance (SHA) was founded with the vision of providing an integrative and sustainable solution to global healthcare challenges. Established in response to the need to broaden the understanding of health in an increasingly globalized world, the SHA has evolved since its inception into one of the leading international non-governmental organizations in the field of holistic medicine. With a strong focus on prevention and dignified healthcare, the SHA combines the best of Western medicine and traditional healing arts.
The SHA operates as an NGO under a UN special mission and adheres to the principles of human and international law in accordance with the UN Charter. Our history is marked by the continuous expansion of global networks, partnerships with international organizations, and the promotion of projects that advance holistic health approaches. With over 140 employees across 13 projects in seven countries and an international network spanning four continents, the SHA is now a significant player on the global health stage. Our operational headquarters are located in Vienna, Geneva, Hamburg, and Basel, and we work in close cooperation with the UN specialized agency UNIDO to improve healthcare globally.
The Swiss Health Alliance (SHA) pursues a philosophy that understands health as the natural right of every individual – a right that encompasses not only the absence of illness but also the pursuit of a fulfilling, healthy life in harmony with body, mind, and environment. Our philosophy assumes that true health lies in a holistic view of the individual. We are convinced that the path to optimal health must incorporate both the proven methods of traditional healing arts and the modern approaches of conventional medicine.
At the core of our philosophy is the individual. We are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to a healthcare system that considers their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. In doing so, we place particular emphasis on prevention and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. We promote the research and application of innovative methods that not only treat symptoms but address the root causes of diseases.
The mission of the Swiss Health Alliance (SHA) is to enable sustainable and equitable healthcare for all people, regardless of origin, location, or status. Our goal is to promote the development and application of holistic medical systems that not only treat symptoms but address the entire person in their physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions.
The SHA is committed to ensuring that healthcare is understood not merely as a reaction to illness, but as proactive prevention and promotion of well-being. We work with a variety of innovative methods, including NEKO scanner technology, frequency medicine, water plasma medicine, and modern detoxification procedures. Our SHA Wellness Clinics offer forward-thinking solutions based on the principles of holism and prevention.
As an NGO under a UN special mission, we are in a unique position to exert global influence on health standards and human rights. Our mission is to establish a new health culture through international collaborations and projects, based on the principles of prevention, sustainability, and justice. We promote closer cooperation between various medical disciplines and advocate for medical research and practice to always serve the well-being of humanity.
Furthermore, the SHA is committed to promoting and implementing health standards that align with the principles of natural rights and human dignity. Our projects and funding programs are designed to create equitable, inclusive, and sustainable healthcare that meets the global challenge of enabling a healthy life for all people.
With this mission, we aim not only to improve existing healthcare solutions but also to bring about a paradigm shift that embeds the importance of prevention and holistic health approaches in the broader public consciousness. Our work is geared towards creating long-term, sustainable solutions for healthcare worldwide that put people at the center.
