It is values that shape the image of a culture and allow us to recognize who and what is valued in a society. They define the standard for decisions and human actions. They allow us to recognize what characteristics individuals and organizations possess and what they should align their actions with. This subsequently forms the basis for value management in a society and the culture of a collective.
Shared values and attitudes form the glue of a community. From this, the culture of a society can be recognized and its intellectual capital expressed. Values are ideas, orientations, and behaviors that people in a collective commit to, and which they consider significant, good, and thus desirable.
Values create a socio-cultural identity and corresponding cohesion. Through a living value system as the “spirit” of a society, the “soul” can be perceived as an expression of the attitude and actions of people within its “body” – society itself.
The German scholar, statesman, and co-founder of the University of Berlin, Wilhelm von Humboldt (1767-1835), once coined the phrase: “Ultimately, it is connections with people that give life its value.”
We can change ourselves and the world if we recognize that we are connected to everything and that our actions have an impact on everything. This creates new perspectives, and our relationship with life changes completely. We enter into relationships and experience ourselves as part of creation and the human family. This provides fertile ground for innovation and a responsible approach to our living environment and the people entrusted to us.

A healthy culture grows on healthy soil. This includes traditions, communal rituals, old crafts, and, in times of climatic challenges, site-adapted seeds for a decentralized food future.
This requires food free of pollutants and health-damaging factors, healthy livestock and fish farming, and the promotion of soil-building three-field crop rotation in agriculture. Because without food, there is no life; without life, no healthy soil; and without healthy soil, no healthy and creative people.
It is precisely here that our members experience and our partners demonstrate how important a holistic health approach is for the SHA.

Additionally, we offer our members and partners insights into current research projects and their results. Creation is so successfully designed because it was endowed with the intelligent ability to cooperate. This means that it is related to many more things than we previously thought.
